On the morning, we all followed our path and separated from Lucas and Maeva. Two hours later, we were in Graz, one of the biggest city of Austria. The town center was nice yet small, and we quickly felt that there would not be much to do there, so after a few hours, we headed to Klagenfurt, on the West side.

Quite tired by the numerous kilometers done in the past days, we decided to stop in the country side when we randomly crossed a nice castle on a hill. We climbed it and decided to taste that Italian wine Polona had given us on the top of it. The place was cool and calm, we were by ourselves and enjoyed the view with this wine that, we must admit, wasn’t tasting great. But still, it was red wine and it was a gift, so we were feeling kind of at home. Despite the cold of the night falling on us, we talked for 1 hours or 2 about the recent political french events (disappointing election) and discussed about mysteries of life, as the bottle was getting emptier and emptier. After some time, we went down the hill to the van to cook, found a water source that enabled us to clean the dishes and fill our bottles, and decided to sleep there.

When we arrived to Klagenfurt, we knew it would be for little time as the city isn’t huge. As always, a nice castle was dominating the city from a hill so we decided to climb it and took some coffee on top of the city. But at this point, we were both looking forward to go back to Slovenia, a country we really enjoyed, and even more to discover Croatia so we didn't stay for long and quickly went back on the road.

We thus headed to the first touristic attraction of Slovenia apparently, which is a lake on the Nord-West of the country, the Lake of Bled. Unfortunately, as soon as we got in the car it started to rain, and we could only see the lake from behind the car windows… The rain was supposed to last for 3 days at least, so we decided to go, as we had nothing to do there if not under the sun. We thus drove down to Croatia, hopping that the further south we would go, the hotter it would get. Seeing the weather in France before I left I only took shorts and t-shirts, no jacket or anything so I have to admit I was really keen for warmer places! The rain motivating us to flee as far as possible, we drove all day south and reached Pula on the Croatian cost at the end of the day.
